What it takes

To win more clients online, you need three things.

  1. 01

Being easy to find when someone searches for an advisor.

  2. 02

Climbing in search and AI answers, month after month.

  3. 03

An ad campaign like the one that brought you here.

Mileage Intelligence measures the first two, autonomously, in about ten minutes.

Why now

Referrals still close. They just check you first.

No one can request a meeting with a firm they can’t find.

It starts with a name

62%

start with a recommendation from friends or family.

No referral

50%

of investors with $5M+ found their current advisor without one.

Asking AI

25%

of investors under 45 used an AI tool while choosing an advisor.

The introductions you’re already earning are decided somewhere you can’t see.

Why this exists

Why we built this, and why we give it away.

Bill Bishilany mid-conversation at a microphone in a sunlit room, notebook open in front of him

This year has changed how advisory firms grow. Paid rankings stopped meaning what they used to. Schwab moved its referral minimum to $2 million, and $5 million comes in January.

Every one of those channels belongs to somebody else, and the terms change when the owner decides. We built Mileage Intelligence to measure the growth a firm actually owns, and it builds this benchmark autonomously, end to end.

We give the benchmark away because showing what the system does is more useful than describing it. Your report is yours to keep and act on.

Growth that lasts comes through channels your firm controls.

Questions we get

What’s in the report?

A narrated walkthrough of your own market, then the detail behind it: an executive summary of your keyword coverage against your competitors’ range; a ranking grid showing where your firm and four competitors land on every tracked term; site health — speed, schema and structure, which increasingly decides whether AI answers cite you; a map of how the searches in your market actually feed a firm; and a gap analysis splitting what you’re closest to winning from what you’re absent on entirely. It closes with four priorities. Nothing to set up: it runs on public data.

Where does the data come from?

Mileage Intelligence assembles it from live sources. Rankings from Semrush’s organic database, measured on the date printed on the cover. Speed and structure from live Lighthouse and PageSpeed runs. The written read comes from a model reading your public pages. Competitors are chosen by keyword coverage, not hand-picked. One thing worth knowing: the grid will disagree with what you see when you search for yourself, because your results are personalised and the measurement is not.

How is it ready so fast?

Mileage Intelligence runs it autonomously, end to end, so the analysis takes about ten minutes. It is the same infrastructure that studies our clients’ markets every month. The speed is in the measurement; the judgment comes after, from a person.

What does it cost?

Nothing. It’s the same deep-dive audit we bill at two to three thousand dollars, and it’s yours to keep and act on. If you read it and decide the gap is worth solving, that’s the moment for a call.

We don’t get many leads through our website.

Most firms don’t, and a site sitting still won’t. What separates the ones that do is everything running alongside it: monthly technical upkeep, new content, reviews and citations. This report measures one part of that — where you land on the terms your market searches — so you get a straight answer on whether search is part of your gap.

We’re already doing SEO. Still useful?

Are you seeing qualified leads come through your website? If the answer is no, this benchmark will tell you why.

Yes. Your current reporting shows whether your own rankings are improving. This shows where you stand against the four firms competing for the same searches — same terms, same scoring, same day. A firm can be climbing and still losing ground to them. It also checks whether your site is built the way AI answer engines read, which most programs are not tracking yet.
